Pittsburgh Marathon Route Altered By Explosive Device

Pittsburgh police were forced to detour a final segment of the 2010 Pittsburgh Marathon Sunday after an explosive device was found in a small microwave oven on the route, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.

Pittsburgh Police Sgt. James Kohnen told the newspaper that the microwave had a "suspicious explosive device" inside it and that a police robot was used to defuse it. ...

I would imaging that the top 3-4 slots would be occupied by the man's beer gut portable, low-density grain storage facility.  Not as reasons, just that it takes up that much space.   :-)

Back OnT--didn't the Pakistan-Taliban threat warn of explosions (plural) across the US? The report also reads that no actual explosives were involved, but at the same time x-rays of the microwave (that's a bit funny to say, when you think about it) made them worried.

Not saying they're connected, but I'm not saying they're not, either (NY and Pittsburgh).
