They have run out of ponies, a unicorn will be along soon, just as soon as he has finished some urgent business.

When I received the email today, my first thought.....whew, a NORMAL community   :-)

Seriously, this is so common, as a former mod on other boards, remember, that which doth not kill you makes you stronger!  I will NEVER be a mod again, much more fun being a "member".  A member who understands what a thankless job the admin/mods have sometimes.  :thatsright:

Great community, thanks for letting me in  :cheersmate:

For the record....DB and Chris deserve a few zillion H5's for keeping the place from burning to the ground over the last few days.

Difficult situation is an understatement and appreciate that there is quite a bit of openness here in dealing with it.

Kev has not told us what his intentions are.

I'm still trying to decide on what I want to do. I'm upset with how the entire situation played out. I don't want to see the impact WE had on the board, nor his work to better the board, diminished. Out of the three of us, I will say he worked harder behind the scenes keeping the site hacker-proof and operational. It made my job a lot easier. The entire situation is awkward as hell for me. I would have just as easily accepted the server with USMILNET on it so I could move it, or take possession of the hosting account. I'm not saying I don't care about this site, just that CC is operational right now because of the hard work we all put into it. A lot of 3AM nights, on mine and WE's side, to get this thing up.

Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

I for one appreciate all the work you guys did on this site.  This is my favorite message board these days.

BTW...  Please PM me the link to the USMILNET board.  I managed to lose it from my favorites file some how.

+1 on that.

All of the mods and admins have made a terrific board here. If there is anything I can do to help keep it that way, let me know. Seriously.

I miss all the good stuff....DAMMIT !
My fellow Americans, there is nothing audacious about hope. Hope is what makes people buy lottery tickets instead of paying the bills. Hope is for the old gals feeding the slots in Atlantic City. It destroys the inner-city kid who quits school because he hopes he'll be a world-famous recording artist.

What's the difference between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama?

One is a well turned-out, good-looking, and let's be honest, pretty sexy piece of eye-candy.

The other kills her own food.
