USDA wants to regulate the internet/reimpose Net Neutrality

https://www.cruz.senate.gov/newsroom/press-releases/sens-cruz-thune-colleagues-urge-usda-to-reverse-decision-to-include-so-called-net-neutrality-commitments-in-reconnect-program
what follows is a quote from a letter GOP senators wrote.
Quote
“It is deeply troubling that USDA is suggesting it has the authority much less the qualified staff and expertise to make determinations about ‘lawful Internet traffic.’ If USDA decides to make attempts at regulating the Internet absent authority from Congress, it would lead to tremendous legal and marketplace uncertainty.

“Rather than attempting to impose monopoly-era regulations on broadband providers and politicizing the ReConnect program, we strongly urge you to reverse your decision to provide additional scoring points based on USDA’s determination of what constitutes ‘net neutrality.’”
This is the Department of Agriculture. Regulating the internet seems a bit out of their jurisdiction.

Democrats want control. Controlling information is a good start. They will use whatever illegal means they can to bypass the lawful way of doing things.

I gotta hand it to Joe the Sharter's thugs. It's like they seize any material they can, throw it against the wall, just to see what sticks.

This time it's probably Joe's underwear.
