McAuliffe Concedes ...
« on: November 03, 2021, 01:07:08 PM »

Democrat former Gov. Terry McAuliffe conceded to Republican governor-elect Glenn Youngkin in the Virginia gubernatorial race on Wednesday morning. His public acknowledgement came after multiple news outlets called the race for his GOP opponent shortly after midnight.

“While last night we came up short, I am proud that we spent this campaign fighting for the values we so deeply believe in,” McAuliffe said in a statement. “We must protect Virginia’s great public schools and invest in our students.”

“We must protect affordable health care coverage, raise the minimum wage faster, and expand paid leave so working families have a fighting shot,” he continued. “We must protect voting rights, protect a woman’s right to choose, and, above all else, we must protect our democracy.”

Well Cavers, I've been waiting for an occasion to open my bottle of Eagle Rare Bourbon Whiskey that I bought for my most recent birthday.

The occasion is now. Cheers!

The DUmmies have painted themselves into a corner.  They are going to have a VERY hard time crying "FOUL, stolen election!!!"

After all the things they've said about Trump ... they're in a tough spot for a few election cycles, because I truly believe they are screwed for 2022, and most likely 2024.

Nah, he was the sacrificial lamb.  "Look, if we cheated, why didn't McAuliffe win, huh huh huh????"

Really not sure if that's a joke at this point.  We know Election 2020 was a cluster.  Whether it was stolen is debatable both ways, IMHO, but it was definitely a cluster.  We know the proggies at the top look long term, and don't mind feeding a few of their own to the wolves if it fits the endgame.

Maybe but the interesting thing to watch is the NJ race. I don't know about you but I found it odd when Bergen County flipped back to Murphy seemingly when no one was looking.
The Democratic party is longest running racist organization in the country. Going strong for over 200 years.

‘Blue Collar’ Truck Driver on Verge of Unseating Leader of Democratic Machine
https://freebeacon.com/elections/blue-collar-truck-driver-on-verge-of-unseating-leader-of-democratic-machine/

Quote
A commercial truck driver whose campaign committee spent only $153 is more than 2,000 votes ahead and on the verge of unseating the Democratic New Jersey Senate president.

Edward Durr, who says he jumped into the race "not seeking power or fame, only give the people better representation," employed no staff for his long-shot campaign, instead relying on family, friends, and grassroots supporters to knock on doors in South Jersey's Third Legislative District. His opponent, Steve Sweeney, is the longest-serving Senate leader in New Jersey history.

"I have lived here all my life. I have been a commercial truck driver for last 25 years. I consider myself to be ‘blue collar,'" Durr’s campaign website reads. "I believe in God. I am hard working, trusting, and very loyal. I believe in fiscal responsibility, transparency, and lower taxes. I also support the Second Amendment. I am not a polish politician who is looking for a career; instead, I would like to see government return to the hands of the people."

A Durr victory would dramatically shake up New Jersey politics. Sweeney has been one of the most powerful Democrats in the state for decades. Should he lose his post as Senate president, the New Jersey Democratic power center will shift away from the southern portion of the state—once known for its reliable bloc of unionized, blue collar voters. Former president Donald Trump won the district in 2020.

Edward Durr spent $153 for his campaign.  :lmao: :rotf: :yahoo:

Amazing, but I'm still convinced that the absolute majority of voters vote for the incumbent, time after time after time.

Being a career politician is a lucrative business, as we've seen over and over again. Right Hillary?  :whatever:
