I think we all know how utterly ludicrous that speculation was, long before we knew anything of the shooters. For my part, as soon as I knew there had been more than one shooter I was pretty certain it was either gang-related (+/- drugs) or terrorism, probably of the jihadi variety. With the latter seeming more likely. I just didn't shoot my mouth off with unguarded speculations! DU-folk seem not to have learned such minimal decency and cautiousness.

Struggling to offer an alternative explanation for the obvious conclusion of terrorism, CNN’s Erin Burnett on Thursday wondered if one of the killers from Wednesday’s rampage snapped as a result of “postpartum psychosis.” This was after two former FBI agents explained to Burnett just how Tashfeen Malik was radicalized.

Despite this, the CNN anchor wondered, “I just have to ask you, could there be something else, anything else, that could have explained her involvement? Something like a postpartum psychosis?” Former FBI profiler Jim Clemente calmly told Burnett that “postpartum psychosis... is typically internal.”

I haven’t really wanted to comment on this because I try not to judge how a family handles its grief at the loss of a family member. However, the family has hired two lawyers, at least one of whom appears to be a stark raving conspiracy nut. These two yahoos have been on virtually every media outlet in the entire world today, and it’s time to at least acknowledge that they are not helping. Of course, I’m not entirely sure what the family’s goal is at this point.

It is beyond caveat, according to the testimony of basically infinity witnesses, that both Farook and his wife exchanged fire with police when police attempted to stop them in the now-infamous black SUV. Moreover, the trail of evidence that led them to Farook came from a tip from a worker at the County office, and when police looked into Farook they found that he had rented the black SUV that witnesses had clearly indicated the shooters had left the scene in. Even if you discount all the evidence found by police (as conspiracy theorists are wont to do), then you are left with overwhelming testimony by innocent bystanders that these two were responsible for the shootings in San Bernardino.

Now, they’re both dead at this point and thus not going to ever face trial. Only a crazy person would attempt to sue the city for their wrongful deaths, given what has occurred. So I am not sure what the end game is here for these attorneys, but right now they are making themselves and the Farook family seem like kooks.

America bears some of the blame for the bloody wave of Islamic extremism that has brought terrorism to San Bernardino, Paris and locations around the world, according to a spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

In a Friday CNN interview, Hussam Ayloush, of the group's Los Angeles chapter, said American foreign policy has helped fuel the rage that drives Muslim radicals to kill in the name of their faith.

“Let’s not forget that some of our own foreign policy, as Americans, as the west, have fueled that extremism,” Ayloush told "New Day" host Chris Cuomo during a discussion about Wednesday's terrorist attack in San Bernardino, Calif., where a Muslim married couple killed 14 and wounded 21 at a holiday party for the county health department that employed the husband, Syed Rizwan Farook.

United Arab Emirates does not like CAIR and calls them terrorists. Islam has a extreme victimhood mentaluty. Blame everyone else, but themselves.

The FBI is now looking into whether or not the mother of one of the San Bernardino gunmen knew anything about the shooting ahead of the attack.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch said on Sunday that the FBI is looking to Rafia Farook, who lived in the same home in Redlands, California, where her son, Syed Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, built pipe bombs and stored thousands of rounds of ammunition.

'Obviously it's something that we're looking at very, very closely,' Lynch told NBC's Meet the Press when asked if Rafia Farook may have known about the shooting.

Since she lived with them, she would of known what was going on.

Rafia Farook, the mother of San Bernardino terrorist Syed Rizwan Farook, is an active member of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), a Muslim organization that promotes the establishment of a caliphate and has ties to a radical Pakistani political group called Jamaat-e-Islami.

Farook’s affiliation with ICNA was revealed on Friday when MSNBC and other new outlets scoured the Farooks’ apartment in Redlands, Cal. An MSNBC reporter found a certificate of appreciation presented to Safia Farook last summer by ICNA’s sisters’ wing.

Investigators are increasingly convinced that San Bernardino killers Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik were planning further attacks, according to security sources.

Authorities say a stockpile of 6,000 bullets and 12 pipe bombs discovered on the couple and at their home in Redlands, California, is a strong indication that they were planning further atrocities.

However, agents have yet to identify what Farook and Mailk's plan was following their attack on Wednesday morning, or what their future targets may have been.

Looks like they were planning to attack more places. Thankfully, they got killed by police.

The FBI would have known late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning the identity of who purchased the rifles Jihadi Fyed and Jihadi Malik used. Why the delay in searching his home?

Of similar or greater importance, according to an ATF report the rifles had been modified so as to fire full automatic, and to accept over-sized clips - making the rifles illegal by CA and Federal laws. Who did that? If not Jihadi Fyed, who? If some one else, it's all but certain that they were in on Jihadi Fyed's and Jihadi Malik's plan.

FBI agents found an empty GoPro package, shooting targets and tools inside a car belonging to the mother of San Bernardino mass shooter Syed Farook, Daily Mail Online can reveal.

Authorities have repeatedly denied rumors that Farook, 28, and his wife Tashfeen Malik, 27, strapped recording devices to their body armor as they stormed the Inland Regional Center, slaughtering 14 people and wounding 21.

However Daily Mail Online has a discovered that an empty GoPro box was one of dozens of items seized from a black Lexus IS300 in the wake of last Wednesday's massacre.

Some of the items belong to Rafia Farook.

Blockbuster Allegation: DHS, State Halted Investigation Into Islamist Group Linked To San Bernardino Terrorists

Customs and Border Patrol analyst Phil Haney tracked members of the Islamist Deobandi movement with which Sayed Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, were affiliated. But the Department of Homeland Security deleted the records, then disciplined and retaliated against him when he blew the whistle, he says.

Haney said he worked in Passenger Analysis Units at the Department of Homeland Security in Atlanta and at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s National Targeting Center, where he performed research into people and groups that might be linked to terrorism. He identified members of al-Huda and Tablighi Jamaat, subgroups of the Deobandi Movement, a century-old fundamentalist Islamic group originating in Pakistan, as they traveled into and out of the United States. An association with Tablighi Jamaat has been documented by the French in an estimated 80% of terrorism cases. Dar Al Uloom Mosque, frequented by Sayed Farook, is linked with the Deobandi Movement. Tashfeen Malik studied with Al-Huda in Pakistan.

Haney was given an agency award for his work identifying potential terrorists and he was asked to become part of the National Targeting Center, which works to connect the dots between radical figures and groups, he said. After more than six months tracking the Deobandi movement, Homeland Security halted the investigation at the urging of the State Department’s Office of Civil Rights, Haney said.

The agencies asserted that since the Islamist groups in question were not Specially Designated Terrorist Organizations, tracking individuals related to these groups was a violation of the their civil liberties, according to Haney. “The administration was more concerned about the civil rights and liberties of foreign Islamic groups with terrorist ties than the safety and security of Americans,” Haney said. He met with the DHS Inspector General in 2013, in coordination with several Members of Congress. DHS and the Justice Department then subjected him to investigations, none of which showed wrongdoing, he said. In September 2014, they sequestered him, revoked his access to the database and revoked his security clearance.

In a televised interview with Megyn Kelly of Fox News, Haney said that if he’d been allowed to continue his investigation, Malik’s visa application would have been flagged for greater scrutiny.

After a few drinks, he would just start talking — about his money woes, trying to lose weight, wanting to join the Navy. News reports about terrorism were just fodder for more bar talk.

“He would say stuff like: ‘There’s so much going on. There’s so many sleeper cells, so many people just waiting. When it happens, it’s going to be big. Watch,’ ” said Nick Rodriguez, a frequent patron who had known Mr. Marquez on and off for the past two years. “We took it as a joke. When you look at the kid and talk to him, no one would take him seriously about that.”

But nine days after a husband and wife slaughtered 14 people in a terrorist attack at a county health department meeting, Mr. Marquez, 24, a childhood friend of the husband, Syed Rizwan Farook, has become a crucial if unlikely figure in the investigation of the attack — which was just the kind he discussed when terrorism news reports flashed onto the tavern’s television.

Pal of San Bernardino terrorists charged on multiple counts

The friend of the terrorist couple behind the Dec. 2 attack that left 14 dead in San Bernardino was arrested Thursday and charged on multiple counts.

Enrique Marquez, 24, was charged with conspiring to provide material support to terrorists based upon his role in terrorist plotting with Syed Farook in 2011 and 2012, the unlawful purchase of the two assault rifles used in the deadly shooting two weeks ago and defrauding immigration authorities by entering into a sham marriage with a member of Farook’s family.

 The documents describing charges said he admitted plotting the attacks with Farook on Riverside Community College and State Route 91 in or around late 2011. At the college, where both men had previously been students, the men planned to throw pipe bombs into crowds of students at the library or cafeteria.

Enrique Marquez is just as bad as Tashfeen Malik and Syed Malik. Anyone who supports terrorism is just as bad as the terrorist. He should be shot.
