Anyone have a Jawhorse? My husband has commented that he wants one for awhile now. My mom asked for an idea of what to get him for Christmas so I suggested the Jawhorse. She ordered it today from Amazon. It got great reviews but I was wondering if anyone here has one.

Nope, don't have one. But as a marital aid, it looks great.
:lmao:

How does one get onto your Christmas list, BEG? :whistling:

Hadn't heard of the Jawhorse before, but it looks like a takeoff of the Black and Decker Workmate. (http://www.newtoolnews.com/images/toolboxes/bd_workmate425.gif)
My dad bought a workmate many years ago, and due to being a workaholic and having a big bad ass workbench in our old garage, it kind of sat and deteriorated. Wednesday I noticed it, removed the plywood/particle board tops and replaced them with pressure treated two by sixes, drilled the holes for the pegs, and knocked the major rust off with the wire wheel. This thing is really handy, I may take it for my own...

Those things are virtually indestructable and can take a heck of a load. I have had mine for at least thirty + years. Probably should put a new top on as the particle board is showing its age from when I made a mistake and loaned it to a neighbor. (he let it get wet) I still have the miter attachment. (used to clamp a skill saw to cut angles, can't bear throwing it out, it has this great dovetail slide...)
