Texas police confirm shooting at Arlington high school
Shooting happened at Timberview High School in Arlington
Texas police are responding to a high school shooting in Arlington Wednesday morning.
Arlington Police confirmed it was on the scene of a shooting at Timberview High School, and its officers were carrying out a "methodical search" and working closely with ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), the Mansfield Independent School District, which has its own police department, the Mansfield Police Department, Grand Prairie Police Department and other agencies.
It was not confirmed exactly how many people were injured. KXAS-TV reported that multiple people had been shot.
A spokeswoman with the Mansfield Independent School District confirmed to Fox News Digital by phone that there was a "police situation" at Timberview High School. She said "the school is on lockdown, students and staff are in their classrooms and offices are locked down, and no visitors are being admitted at this time," but declined to provide any additional updates.

Hell, even Cackala might go to Texas again, probably thinking Arlington is near the border. (It is about as far away as possible from the border in the great state of Texas)

The DA in Austin, Jose Garza, is a leftist, of course (isn't everybody in Austin a leftist?) and was elected last November.
Since then, there have been at least 47 homicides in Austin, the cops are leaving in droves, and Garza's laissez-faire policies against criminals like this punk kid have created an atmosphere of fear.
An assistant DA resigned from his job, citing orders from on high to delete evidence. Garza indicted a cop (Gregory Gentry) after the previous DA failed to indict him, presumably because of exculpatory evidence.
In short, the Austin DA - a smug, arrogant leftist who fancies himself as an "activist for immigration" (translation -- illegals) has been a one-man wrecking ball in Travis County.
There's no doubt in my mind that he's responsible for the watered-down charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The punk should be charged with attempted murder and his ass belongs in the slammer.
