Obama got more votes in NC then Romney did, so I guess the Democrats were out in force and voted for the amendment? and were the majority of those Democrats who voted for the amendment black or white?

I voted yesterday and voted against it.  There has been a law banning same sex marriage on the books since 1996.  I agree gays shouldn't be married, I however thought the amendment was too vague and I'm pretty sure it just overturned NC being a common law marriage state.

Regardless, unlike acting like the DUmbasses, it passed and so be it.   I agree in principle, I just thought they should write it a little more precise.
