That is digging pretty deep. She should know the laws regarding the flag I suppose, but many people don't. I just was told that if a flag is to fly at night, it has to be lit up. I had no clue. Of course I am not Sarah Palin, but still, that is stretching it so far. Come on now.

And desecrates sounds so vile. I wouldn't call that desecrating. Whatever.

this is based on a video that may show her signing a flag.  or it may show her singing something else while a flag is also in her hand.



if she did it, she shouldn't have.  the american flag isn't for advertisements or endorsements.  I don't know what the remorseful, patriotic individual does to rectify the situation if they have done something along these lines in an unthoughtful moment, but she probably needs to do it . . . whatever that act of contrition may be.

I don't give a rat about the DUmmies view, that said, pretty damn dumb to think you should sign a flag. If it was a full size flag. From the video it looks very much like the interviewer's producer handed her the flag, a decorative yard flag. Shut the eff up moonbats.

It's hard to tell if she did sign the flag and the still photo from the link doesn't show it very well. But if she did , she needs to apologize and do it quick. Maybe say that she was just grabbing the proffered items and signing without thinking while continuing to talk to people.

ETA;  Let's not forget all the flags desecrated and thrown on the ground after Lord Zero's coronation, or at any other so-called leftist rally held in DC.

Gimme a ****in' break! Ya know what? I'd be honored if Palin signed my yard flag! You heard me! She's done more to defend it than any other civilian in my recolection for the last 40 ****in' years!

In the days when these lefty assholes can burn my flag on main street USA, when illegal aliens can raise their flag above mine and get away with it, and defend the right to do so, Palin can sign my flag anytime!

And I'll kick any DUmbass who says she can't! You ****ers all of sudden know what the law is considering my flag? Don't make me upchuck!

Just so all you ****ers know, my FIL had a full sized flag signed by every one in his platoon at the end of WWII!! He was proud of it! He would die to protect it! We never worried about desecration! Some of the names on that flag accompanied him to the Japan theater after they were done in Europe! 4 of them didn't come home! To him it was a war Memorial!

**** anyone who says that is not patriotic! ****, ****, ****, **** **** you!!!!!!!!!!!

He had me make a mahogany case for it so he could hang it on the damn wall! It now sits in the nitch in the wall where his ashes are in the Veteran's portion of the Spokane National Cemetery!

Yep.  You NEVER hear those assholes screeching about the illegals stomping all over our flag during protests for open borders and free lunches.  Nor do these same assholes protest one iota about the American flag being burned on the Arab street.
It would be so refreshing if they'd shut the **** up about Sarah Palin's alleged infraction since they can't get indignant about the trashing of the flag by America's enemies.  As always, this double standard simply labels them a bunch of hypocritical assholes.

Pops drove a tank in Italy! He drove a Sherman, more affectionately known as a Ronson Lighter, or was it Zippo, I forget. He managed to get the hell out after bein' plugged by a German tank! The driver had a hatch in the front in order to make an escape. His buds didn't make it! He ended up gettin' separated from his company and got shipped to Normandy where he drove with the Red Ball Express until Hitler bit the big one! He thought he was goin' to get to go home.

He did, ya know, for two weeks! They then shipped him to the South Pacific. He never talked much about his experience there. I'm pretty sure it was because he still found it painful to remember!

He brought home two officer's swords and a Japanese rifle from his duty there. I have them now as his oldest son died last year.

My Dad served in Korea.  We kids all pitched in to get Mom a glass sided display case for the flag that draped his casket when he passed in 1997.  She keeps it on her dresser, along with a pic of him in his Army uniform.

There's a lot of good stuff here that should be put in Political Ammunition....Ayers standing on the flag for one.  I also remember when Sarah was photoshopped wearing a flag bikini and they all thought that was a hoot.  Also the trashed flags at the convention and on the national mall.  Because you know if Sarah runs in 2012, we're going to need the ammo to fire back :D
