Not all. The first few that tried that, maybe, but let's face it--Skinner is a capitalist at heart, though he wouldn't dare admit it at DU.
The price would go up markedly after the first few. And maybe keep going up thereafter.
Coach--your thoughts?
I've been watching my fellow alum Skins, even though out of respect for the Enormous Burden he carries, I haven't quoted him over here for months. He's got enough troubles as it is, and so best to leave him alone.
I get the sense there is an ever-increasing weariness in him; that he's starting to wonder if the primitives are worth his time and trouble and vexation and frustrations.
Remember how the primitives bitched and moaned because Skins had to leave the island a couple of times, both times because his wife had delivered infant heirs. The primitives thought
they should be his main concern, not these domestic additions.
As a typical example, remember how Pedro Picasso and Chief S itting Bull, the bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive, asked my fellow alum a question, "demanding" his appearance, and when Skins didn't immediately show, Pedro Picasso and Chief S itting Bull ignored him for months thereafter.
That my fellow alum had to baby-sit (this was when there was still only one heir) that evening, didn't mean excresence to them.
You got all these primitives running around Skins's island thinking they're better people, smarter people, a higher calibre of people, than my fellow alum.
As incredible as it might sound, yes, even Pedro Picasso thinks he's a better, worthier, man than Skins.
I've heard of lobotomies being performed on people with less delusions than this.
My fellow alum honestly wants Skins's island to succeed, and do well, but I think he's coming around to realizing that for that to happen, he's got to maintain somewhat more control over the stupid primitives and their gross stupidities.
As with the case of Fat Che, I speculate the exilings are going to stand.
But please notice that all-important word, "speculate;" not being able to read my fellow alum's mind, I can't say with 100% confidence.
As for the lust for money from the primitives, it's doubtful the now-exiled primitives ever contributed much, if anything at all. Maybe five bucks here, five bucks there, if any bucks at all.
