4. I converted one of them.
 Or Bush did, anyhow.

Mr. D. ..yep, MY mister D. was raised Republican, and actually voted for Bush in 2000.
Mostly out of loyalty to his deceased grandfather, I believe.

Other than that, Mister D. is a most wonderful man.
He has moved from refusing to discuss politics with me to watching KO, Maddow, and voting Dem.

Only took me 6 years to bring him around.

Hell, even my dog is Democrat.
Of all the telephone poles, hydrants, street signs, bushes in the neighborhood,
he lifted his leg on a McCain sign.

We are very proud of him.

I know of no hard core republicans that would ever vote for Obama.

El Stupido Supremo has a distorted view of things.

Remember, to El Stupido Supremo, someone who says grace over the Thanksgiving turkey and goes to church twice a year on Christmas and Easter is a "fundie."

So I'm dubious of this "hard-core Republican" stuff.

But really, what I see here is that the father-in-law, tired of listening to the constant rantings of his tedious son-in-law, just said he'd be voting for the Big Zero, just to shut El Stupido Supremo up.

Bounce it up, bounce it down, bounce it to the ground....

Maybe it's a beach ball, or a beach volleyball ball.

You're aware, sir, that El Stupido Supremo used to free-lance articles for surfing magazines.

Last summer, when I went to a garage sale at a bicycle shop, there were several boxes of old magazines, circa late 1960s through the mid 1990s, including surfing magazines.  I decided it would be good to learn something about the sport, but was a little put off that for fifty cents for three boxes of the surfing magazines, they also made me take away eight other boxes of bicycling, tennis, golf, &c., &c., &c. magazines.

I just wanted the surfing magazines but had to take it all.

I think the owner was just too lazy to run them somewhere to get recycled.

Oh damn.

I read that too fast, some hours ago.

I thought El Stupido Supremo was referring to his now-famous in-laws, not his step-father.

Whooops.

For the record, El Stupido Supremo is related, although only remotely and distantly, to an obscure U.S. Senator from Rhode Island a long time ago; the guy also ended up being an obscure U.S. Attorney General.

Related, but only remotely.

Republicans who are protesting McCain will vote for Barr. NOT a Damn Socialist.

Hey, I've been right about everything, including the stuff you tombstoned me for. You 'tards are looking at the next several years in political Siberia after backing the Bush cabal, and you actually have the balls to still pretend to know shit about what is going on in the world?  :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

I have a four-day weekend after working 16-18 hours a day for the last few months to defeat your sorry asses. Going back into the office Tuesday night to watch the results and have a little election party.

And yup, I signed back in just to rub it your whiny little noses in it. Even you guys finally realize that Bush isn't going to be there to steal it this time, and McGramps is out in the wilderness, even if you won't admit it. Awe. Time to reach across the aisle...NOT. More like piss across the aisle.

Get used to it. Karma carries heavy chains.

Thank you. Good job. How many months now, how much is at stake, how much is going on? And "mommy's basement" jokes are all you've got left?

You made my point better than I ever could.  :rotf:

It is all you deserve.  If you are stupid enough to vote for a commie with a 20 year record of lying and an association with known racists and terrorists, and who is clearly an empty suit being controlled by goerge soros and the like, then you are too stupid to understand any reposte anyone would come up with.

But you should keep an eye out for when mommy gets back anyway.

In your dreams. I'm actually looking at probably paying a few more bucks in taxes under Obama. Not a lot. It's a marginal tax rate, just like back in the days when the Bush's and Kennedy's got rich. It didn't break anyone, and people still got rich. My wife and I won't make much over 250k, so I'm not worried. Even if we made $500,000, though, I'd still be willing to pay my share to make sure I have roads and bridges that won't fall down, and schools, and...well, all the things you republicans hate.

You don't know shit about me, loser. I'm an empty-nester who has more money than you'll ever hope to see. And not a dime of it had came from your party's Wall Street gambling addiction. My wife and I worked our asses off for it, stayed married for 26 years (so far...something Republicans can't seem to do), and raised two successful kids...and you? You're ****ed, pinhead. I made wise choices because I wasn't a sheep and didn't think my two-bedroom ranch would double in value every year, you ****ing dolt. I'm safe. My kids are safe.

You, however, are a ****ing idiot.

Remember this little thought . . .

"The pendulum always swings back."

As it did for us, so will it for you.  Further, and harder.
"Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of Liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

"All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk!" -Ayn Rand

"Those that trust God with their safety must yet use proper means for their safety, otherwise they tempt Him, and do not trust Him.  God will provide, but so must we also." - Matthew Henry, Commentary on 2 Chronicles 32, from Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible

"These anti-gun fools are more dangerous to liberty than street criminals or foreign spies."--Theodore Haas, Dachau Survivor

Chase her even when she's yours.
That's the only way you'll be assured to never lose her.

He will have to when our Diebold machines elect McCain.  Fortunately we have more machines under control than they do dead voters.
