I know there will be a contingent of DUers who urge decorum and dignity when Cheney dies, and it's looking like that day is drawing closer and closer. I know it's unseemly to celebrate anyone's demise-- even the most heinous criminals deserve respect at the end of their lives. I understand that. I really do. It's even more unseemly to greet the death of former government officials with cheering.
But Dick Cheney is one of the vilest human beings to pollute the earth during my lifetime, and while I'll have some sympathy for his family if his passing causes them sadness, I'll toast his death with the same champagne I drank to celebrate McCain's defeat and the passing of the Bush/Cheney administration in 2008, and I'll happily dance on his grave at every opportunity.
Fair warning: I don't care how much the toads at FR gnash their teeth and wail about our trash talking the VP. I don't care how petty it appears. Dick Cheney is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands, he is responsible for torture, war, and pestilence. He helped put the evil in our evil foreign policy. I'm convinced that he drinks the blood of children to stay alive.
When Dick Cheney's black heart finally fails, I will celebrate. The world will instantly become a better place.
And like I said in another thread, I hope it hurts, and that he dies alone and afraid. May he atone for the great suffering he has caused the entire planet.

Mike starts celebrating early, but realizes he's running low on booze and jumps in his car to run out for more.
Mike, at 60 mph, runs his hoopdy under the rear of a semi stopped at a light, nearly decapitating his vile and disgusting self and dying in horrible agony shortly after the rescue crew finally pries his piece of shit ride out of the trailer undercarriage.
Cheney makes a full recovery and lives for another twenty years.

It turns out Mikey is an organ donor and Cheney ends up with Mike's heart and lives another 50 years due to a higher lifestyle.

It's in really poor taste. The mods are aware that there isn't an exact rule for really poor taste, but poor taste can also be inflammatory. And it's edging on wishing harm on a public figure since Cheney isn't dead yet.

OMG - Cheney is now officially without a pulse
He is living with an external device, a doctor just interviewed by Rachel tells, one that provides continuous heart monitoring and assistance for heart function. A device that has to be re-charged at night and as all externals has to be with him at all times.
The most startling thing to me is that it is now official.

If tonight is any indication with just news of Cheney's mechanic transplant, these forums are going to explode when he actually passes. It may well be the single most disgusting thing any of us witness.
It could be that I just monitor the DUmp too much, but as each thread is created, I lose one more iota of faith in humanity...

I truly believe Dead Ted is currently receiving everything he earned during his life in the afterlife -- no gravedancing on my part, but if you live your life as he did, eternity may not be "heaven" for you . . .
I'm also praying for Mr. Cheney that he makes a full recovery and is able to get back to playing with his grandkids and spending hours in a quiet stream somewhere, fly fishing. I hope he outlives all those idiots over at DU!
