Title: Wal Mart issuing bonds in Japanese Yen
Post by: 5412 on August 04, 2009, 03:48:10 PM
Hi,

I receive a daily newlsetter about foreign currency.  Following is a blurb from today's edition which is think is very telling.  If one has their total portfolio in USD you are headed for some real heartache I am afraid.

regards,

"Did you see that Wal-Mart just issued $1 Billion in bonds but denominated them in yen? Is there a message there? I believe there is a message there, folks... Now, if we begin to see more corporations doing this, then the message will be loud and clear.

These corporations don't believe they can sell their debt denominated in dollars, as the world is choking on dollars right now. When and if other corporations begin to do this, we'll see the dollar get sold like ponchos on a rainy day at Disney World! "

Save your Confederate money boys, the south shall rise again.

You're right, sir.

The way the Great Black Father in Washington is, I suspect that by mid-winter, the Weimar Republic will have risen again, too.
