The bias in the play-by-play calls from Joe Buck has been disgusting already. Fox should've relieved him for someone else.

Buck has been an irritating boil on the ass for years. He is incompetence personified.

Guess those comments about Pujols did have some effect, eh? :o

Mrs E and I caught the last 4 innings of the game last night, which comprises the FIRST game of ANY sport that we've watched on the tube in many, many a year.

Pujols is a monster. Plain flat out. Three home runs in a WS game - ties the record with Babe Ruth (1928, IIRC), Reggie Jackson (1977). But beyond Pujols, it was a slugfest brawl. The Cards took no prisoners last night.

Fluke...that "no tag" call at first opened the floodgates.

Rangers take the next two and need one in St. Louis.

I have no problem with that end result, just as I have no problem with the Cards taking it all again.

It's called, "I have no dog in that fight."  :-)

I'm still gloating over the 1968 WS triumph by Detroit over St. Louis.  :whistling:

Try arrogance. I've seen him at a couple sports dinner. His father, Jack Buck, was a prince. This "kid" is just spoiled.

But so happy that the Cards have gone so far. I'm so proud of them.

GO CARDS

Larussa blew the pitching change and then blamed it on the crowd noise while he was on the phone with the bullpin but he keeps changing his story.

Go Rangers

At least you can dream about making it next year.  Probably 2013 at the earliest for the Mets . . .

. . . but then, watch out!  With the surplus of prospects they have in their lower minors, some of them are bound to hit The Show.
