10. +1 Outstanding point. It's part of the death of empathy
The GOP has been selling its lack of empathy value to us for decades now. We accept thousands of gun deaths and always say it could be worse. We need to regulate guns to get out of this hell.To quote Tina Turner
Out of the ruins, out from the wreckage
Can't make the same mistakes this time
And I wonder when we are ever gonna change?
Living under the fear, till nothing else remains
We don't need another hero,
We don't need to know the way home
All we want is life beyond the Thunderdome
Don’t like that one? It’s the same song different dance with y’all. Yeah, you’re a little pissed that it’s a black guy, but overall you’re excited because you think you have another stab to attack legal firearms owners. Yet you never see your own hypocrisy. You think this will be blamed on all blacks and you act outraged, but it will ultimately fall on all gun owners and you’ll cheer.
**** y’all.

Other than as a retort to DU-grade Progs' reflexive blame-the-white-racist-Christian-Trumpster-gun-nut narrative, the guy's skin color and political party affiliation mean zero to me.

The usual political voices have decided the shooter represents the NRA, of which he wasn't even a member.

Well, like they say, it's the thought that counts... 😂😂😂

Empathy doesn't make something wrong or right. That is the job of morality and morality isn't based on feelings because feelings mislead people.

Until people realize that the problem is people, not the inanimate tools they use, progress will be impossible.

Public employee.
It has already been memory holed.
