Obama Ditches Tax Cut Presser With Bill Clinton

So does this make Bill Clinton the President-Czar?

I wonder if Bill brought his stimulus package with him for old times sake.

Never did hear what special twist his stimulus package supposedly had.

Well I have to hand it to Obama.  He truly has made history.    (**** you.)
I don't think any of his predecessors have turned over the White House briefing room to a former President to explain an administration policy.    (I don't any other president has failed so badly as well. I agree. That's what happens when we're forced with a community organizer.)

I do believe that you stated publically on this board that you voted for him.......exactly WHAT does that make you??

1. A fool??

2. A mentally challenged ideologue??

3. A partisan hack??

4. A sad, tedious, out of work bean-counter, who fancies himself as the saviour of America's economic policy??

5. All of the above??

Inquiring minds wish to know........

I never claimed to agree with most of you on most things.

My position of cutting spending and raising taxes is the equivalent of political herpes everywhere.

Just sharing a laugh right now at the state of the Republic on a cold December in 2010.

You'll have to put a spigot in one of those trees over there to do it, but I'm sure you have the technology. Just try not to get all that sticky shit all over you, otherwise they'll be thinking you pulled a Monica on 'em.

I saw a couple of clips of this press conference. Surreal is the word I'd use to describe it. He did bail on Bill and he looked weak (even for him) by doing so. Clinton looked and sounded like a frail little old man.

Bill did sound pretty weak voiced, but in stature I think we all know who looks more presidential. :whistling:
NOT that trouncing Imam Obama in the presidential stature category would take alot of work.

Ask Monica. :rotf:
Damn, I actually find myself missing Billy Goat Clinton.  At least he possessed the political instincts of a master, who went along with the Republican dominated Congress and got shit done.  Some good, some bad, but honestly, compared to this Affirmative Action Bozo we got now, he was good.

I'm sure in Lord Zero's own inimitable way, he was acknowledging Slick Willie's superior political skills and downplaying his own weak skills by just going ahead and bowing out of the "conversation", knowing full well that Slick Willie would get the job done.

Zero's insanely stupid comment about keeping the First Wookie waiting was just that - stupid - and in no way indicated any loss of confidence in SW's ability to handle the presser in a way that would be beneficial. He was actually being honest with the press in an effort to find a way to graciously bow out.

Zero, despite this momentary idiocy overall isn't stupid - he's simply out of his element.

And he knows it, way down deep in his soul where there is no bullshit.

After all, the First Wookie knows better than anybody who wears the pants in the family.
