Leftism Waning Internationally?

There is some welcome news from these countries:

• Australia & New Zealand - the proverbial  said the voters (61%) to "indigenous Australians" and a proposed constitutional amendment. (Read "reparations"). And a big  to New Zealand's leftist government, leading to a center-right coalition. • In the aftermath of a presidential candidate who was assassinated a couple weeks ago in Ecuador, centrist candidate Daniel Noboa, a young 35-year-old, defeated his leftist opponent in a run-off election. Yes, Virginia, it's possible to have non-tainted elections. It's just a shame that the Republicans here in the U.S. haven't quite figured out how to head off the Democrats at the Stolen Election Pass. This might be some encouraging news, at least internationally. Should the Republicans get their collective heads out of their asses, some of this news might trickle to the U.S.

President-elect Noboa of Ecuador is a business owner (a large banana exporter, insert jokes here). There's much about him for the Socialism-minded to hate. Northern Ecuador is a mess. Drug cartels have oozed in from the Cali Colombia area and are making things miserable for people wanting to line peaceful honest lives (that's what the assassination was about, the guy had been exposing the cartel thugs and promised to pursue them).
