The snakes are everywhere. Hissing and threatening. Flashing their forked tongues.

"Go ahead, eat that apple", they say. And millions take a bite of the deceitful fruit.

They were at the rallies, feasting on the lies and anger.

They were at the attack upon our Capitol, beating their plowshares and flagpoles into swords.

They were holed up at the Willard Hotel, planning and conspiring to overthrow our government.

They were at the polling places, attempting to corrupt our democratic voting system.

They were whispering in the halls of Congress, conspiring to stab democracy in the back.

They were stealing America's secrets, slithering amongst the lawyers, attempting to deceive and cover up their evil deeds.

They are everywhere.
