     I am totally fine with the US adopting traditional European university standards. By this I mean the following:
  • Not everyone is allowed to attend. People who are dumb, such as DUmmies, get directed to trade schools (yes, this is a solid fact, IDGAF if you don't think so)
  • Worthless degree programs are either small or do not exist
  • People who are in worthless degree programs are nevertheless among the brightest bulbs in the country

In other words, most European universities are serious business, and not a place for loser druggie scumbag goldbricking layabout DUmmies to congregate.

I learned about the German education system when I took college-level German. As I remember, students are placed in an educational track at an early age, and it's hard to get out of it. As you said, their universities are very hard to get into.

Democrats claim to base their vision of education off of Europe. Except the "European model" they say they favor doesn't seem to exist anywhere.
