The "stolen documents" case is going to the Supreme Court eventually.
And I do not have a lot of confidence in our Justice system. There are Justices on the Court that are more loyal to the Trump cult than to the Constitution. It is a possibility they would vote with the Judge in Florida, putting our national security at risk and disregarding our Constitution.
I am not certain they would follow the rule of law and vote against the criminal mobster that stole our national secrets and attempted to overthrow our government. The Justice system has been corrupted. We just do not know how much?

Did Will Pitt tell you that??

You know jack shit about what Trump "stole", except what other people tell you (and those people have a lousy track record on this sort of thing). And just because you want to nail Trump doesn't mean his legal rights just vanish.

Poor Baby! :rotf: :rotf:
I won't venture to predict the outcome, but consider a few facts:
1. The National Archives and IDOJ used bad-faith fake "negotiations" to cloak the raid they were already planning.
2. a. The number of supposedly classified documents the IDOJ claims Trump had would only partially - maybe less than half - fill one of the containers in which they were kept. The FBI thugs vacuumed up some 14 or 15 containers, i.e. 93%-97% of what was seized were not classified.
2. b. Therefore, that 93%-97% of what was seized in those containers had a high percentage of attorney-client-privileged and executive-privileged materials, and and personal memorabilia.
3. The FBI thugs rifled through Melania's drawers and closet(s), in which documents were not stored, solely to intimidate. The FBI thugs rifled through Barron's room, in which documents were not stored, solely to intimidate.
4. The FBI and IDOJ thugs who pretend to be so very concerned about the secrets in those "classified" have leaked some of the documents' supposed contents in an anti-Trump MSM campaign. Their leaking disproves their claimed concern.
The IDOJ, FBI, and MSM have colluded to obscure these facts, but they, and other facts inconvenient to LIEden's thugs cannot be suppressed in the courtroom.
So, consider the situation, IMO, of course:
* LIEden & Krew picked the MaL search as a hill on which they'd "die", thinking it would mitigate their anticipated poor 2022 election performance and prevent Trump from running in 2024. It's blowing up in their faces.
* LIEden & Krew forgot what Trump has proved in the course of 7 years (i.e. from his 2015 candidacy announcement), Trump fights, not caves. Trump is fighting back against the IDOJ-FBI-MSM skews campaign, and Trump is fighting back in court.
* That this fight would end up before the US Supreme Court was obvious to anyone 10YO and older not accustomed to R "leaders" caving when Dems push.
* It's already mid September, less than 2 months from the mid-term election. That means that news of the pleadings and hearings will be coming out in at least the next several weeks - including facts LIEden & Krew kept out of public view - along with any setbacks LIEden & Krew suffer (possibly including decision(s) against LIEden & Krew). IOW, not only has it blown up inLIEden's face, the debacle will be playing out during the run-up to the election.
All in all,LIEden & Krew chose a stupid hill on which to "die", and could hardly have timed it worse. :rotf:

It's irrelevant to this story, but so also did monkey pox panic.

The first sentence of the DOJ's letter to Special Master Dearie seems to say that 'a former President has the right to keep and store documents, classified or not.
Wtf?
The DOJ is wasting a ton of resources to narrow this into a silly intrigue about 'improper storage'.

Maybe he should have wiped them with a cloth or something. That seems to satisfy the doj.

"solely to intimidate"
You write. Hmmm? :-)
This puts me in mind of an article from the past re J Edgar Hoover, FBI Chief from 1924 until he died in 1972, whether it be true or not. Here it is:

Oh Mercy! (blush)
After reading it through again ...
Have no idea whether to laugh or cry, I don't trust either the alphabet agencies these days, nor the press, then or now!
What a world!!!
