Oh my.

No link, but most know anyway where this comes from.

nadinbrzezinski (115,894 posts)   Fri Feb 8, 2013, 02:03 PM

Apparently my personal view that a former LAPD chief lied

When he claimed he never met Dorner, never mind the photographic evidence to the contrary, is a hidable offense.... Yes, I asked brother buzz if he was "that sense". I have seen worst things stand, some directed at me. (For the record, DU'er is now in the non person list, to avoid any more incidents)

nadinbrzezinski This message was hidden by Jury decision. Hide

143. That he never met the subject.

Then there is a photo of him with the Chief.

Are you that dense?

A Jury voted 4-2 to hide this post on Fri Feb 8, 2013, 10:42 AM. Reason: This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate. (See Community Standards.)

Automated Message
AUTOMATED MESSAGE: One of your posts has been hidden by a DU Jury

At Fri Feb 8, 2013, 08:35 AM, an alert was sent on the following post:

That he never met the subject.
http://www.democraticunde...orum=1002&pid=2335986

REASON FOR ALERT:

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate. (See <a href="http://www.democraticunde...boutus#communitystandards" target="_blank">Community Standards.)

ALERTER'S COMMENTS:

"Are you that dense" is a personal attack, totally out of place as a response to an unoffensive post.

JURY RESULTS

A randomly-selected Jury of DU members completed their review of this alert at Fri Feb 8, 2013, 08:42 AM, and voted 4-2 to HIDE IT.

Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT and said: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT and said: Agreed. Personal attack.
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT and said: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT and said: kind of bullyish post. HIDE.

CONSEQUENCES OF THIS DECISION

You will no longer be able to participate in this discussion thread, and you will not be able to start a new discussion thread in this forum until 9:42 AM. This hidden post has been added to your <a href="/?com=profile&uid=127191&sub=trans">Transparency page.

Yup, I will bring these stupid decisions from a broken system. Though I know the intent. The intent is to have me labelled as disruptor and a pizza, ppr delivery. That is the intent from a small crew of people who are untouchable.

But hey, the best part is this. From juror 6

Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT and said: kind of bullyish post. HIDE.

The irony, oh the irony.

Hmmm.

The iggy list is now the non-person list?

8. Everybody Knows Your Animosity To Ms. Brzezinski, Sir

Everybody knows you are no longer a host in General Discussion because you abused hosting powers to act on your animosity towards her.

Everybody knows you stalk her postings, and have done for a long time.

I have no particular fondness for the lady, nor any particular animosity towards her; I sometimes do not agree with her ,and sometimes I do, and sometimes things she says make me shake my head a little.

But your conduct towards her presents a repellent spectacle, and you ought to be ashamed of yourself for it, and at the very least have the decency to keep it private, and not put it out on public display.

17. I know--maybe it should be dusted off and brought back by popular demand?

It seems like, post-election, there's more than the usual carping, sniping, griping, getting pissy, and taunting than there was prior to November.

The wheels of the juries grind slowly on DU3...it takes a lot longer for a person to get a reputation that puts them in danger of PPR.

When my teeth start getting set on edge, I trot out that HIDE THREAD thing--it seems to work well enough, though it takes a bit of discipline to use it!

2. I think it's for the "are you that dense", however, if someone had posted that to you, and the same jurors had voted on it, I begin to believe it would still be standing.

And there is where the jury system is broken.

The jury system seems to be working just fine, doing its job, and doing its job well.

A lot worst has been left standing. Hell, we have some of the non entities posting here. I beg off people don't talk to them...ignore them.

The objective is to pile as many hidden posts as possible...you see disruptor.

Good luck hiding just news or NWS statements.

I am about to do just that.

Anything that's personal in any way runs the risk of being hidden. It doesn't mean you were right or wrong . . . that's just how it goes. It's a risk you take when you choose to participate in an argument with another poster.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's just one hidden post, which doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things

32. "non entity"? "non person"? You're looking quite nasty, nadin

You give the impression you think yourself better than an awful lot of DUers. You insult another DUer, for no reason, but asking "are you that dense?"; then you insult him further, by talking about your 'non person' list - is that how you see other DUers, as not even people?; and then you call people replying to your thread 'non entities'.

You are here, screaming for attention, begging for sympathy, displaying your imagined wounds to portray yourself as a martyr, and unable to accept that your post was hidden for the insult you made. Not content with that, you insult people who give you the attention you crave.

It's shoddy behaviour, nadin. You are making yourself look very bad.

Quote
pintobean (8,223 posts)   Fri Feb 8, 2013, 02:15 PM

3. The person you insulted was Brother Buzz not "Buzzclick".

Also, the quote from you're excerpt:

Bratton does not recall meeting Dorner, despite a widely publicized photo of the two shaking hands

If someone doesn't remember something, that doesn't mean he's lying.

Nads is threatening to limit her posts to crunchy news without her commentary yet once again.

She'll never limit herself to crunchy news.

Way back when the bald dwarf left the DUmp permanently for about a week, and posted in the abandoned, vacant spaces of Crazy Andrea's place, she returned with a vow to only post crunchy news. She said crunchy news was like crunchy cereal, interesting texture but no substance.

She made a number of educational posts to the DUmpmonkeys, explaining how Americans are retarded because they flock to crunchy sensational news while ignoring important stuff like local zoning board meetings.

So, by her definition, she rarely posts crunchy news. She concentrates on word salads about San Diego city council and earthquakes in the Solomon Islands.

Maybe if she stays on the crunchy news, we can finally find out what's going in down in Ensanada.

Actually we have a very good alert system over here.  Frank allows all of us who pass the background check to have it. It stays locked on the task bar. We have controls that allow us to set it to a specific DUmmie. For instance, if you have it set to nadin anytime she begins to post there's a light on the task bar that changes from red to green. If you click on the light it takes you directly to the post any question.

A prototype was being worked on that would judge the stupidity of the post in question, but last I heard the sensitivity could never be perfected. The result was that every time nadin called herself a reporter or pretended to be an expert on something the prototype would literally laugh itself out of the computer.
