They cheat. They lie. And they seek the company of others who do likewise. Given the limits of their experience, they have no reason to expect that their opposites aren't cheating as well. They simply are not physically capable of getting their wee minds wrapped around the concept of an honest person.
You know, I've asked this so long ago, and so many times, that I finally gave up.
I challenge any Democrat, liberal, or primitive to name one big-city political machine that's run by Republicans.
Just one. Just one solitary one. Just a single one.
Just one.
It gets my goat that a ward boss in Cleveland can create more "votes" out of thin air, than all the votes honestly cast in the Upper Great Plains states.
I've never believed any of this nonsense that Kennedy won the popular vote in 1960, that Nixon only narrowly won the popular vote in 1968, that the Incompetent One won the popular vote in 1976, or that Alphonse Capote Gore won the popular vote in 2000.
But of course, that's all water past the dam.
