Says Damage Caused by WSJ Op-Ed Shows Mackey is a 'Liability'

WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The CtW Investment Group called on the Whole Foods Market (NYSE:WFMI) board to remove CEO John Mackey as Chairman and to begin the process of naming a new CEO in a letter to Whole Foods' lead independent director, Dr. John Elstrott, yesterday afternoon. Citing the risk to Whole Foods' brand reputation caused by Mr. Mackey's editorial opposing President Obama's proposed healthcare reform, CtW urged the board to take immediate action to prevent continued damage in the face of a quickly-growing boycott by Whole Foods' progressive customer base.

Considering how much liberals bleat and bray about no one offering counter-proposals it is hypocritical in the extreme that they try to stifle any form of alternative. Actually, it isn't hypocritical it is in perfect accord with their MO of tyranny.

Let Whole Foods know that you will start shopping at their stores if they stand-up for Mackey's right to express himself.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Not me. I'll leave it to moonbats to pay double for whole grain organic goodness.
Whole Foods is a company full of moonbats, serving the moonbat community.
That CEO is a world-class imbecile for crapping on his customer base, regardless what his personal opinion is.

Whole Foods is the DUmmies' Smith&Wesson, and I don't recall a big line of democrats waiting to buy Model 29s
when S&W shit on us.

Meh. I used to shop at Wild Oats all the time and I ain't no freakin' moonbat.

I will admit, however, that most of the other customers in that store had bolts in their eyebrows, tattoos up and down their arms, and were exuding pretty strong moonbat fumes.

I congratulate the guy, whether or not he crapped on his customer base, for expressing his opinion. It's too bad that people can't separate opinion from business. I suppose politics rears its ugly head once again.    :clueless:
