« on: August 28, 2013, 03:14:01 PM »
I've used all of these, and ordered them for neighbors.

London Pub Malt Vinegar (excellent for deep fried fish)

Garlic Expressions (salads and such)
http://garlic-expressions.com/
http://garlic-expressions.com/ideas/recipes.asp

Arthur Bryants BBQ Sauce and Rubs (beef, pork and fowl)
http://www.arthurbryantsbbq.com/ab/

These can be ordered on line....

Anybody have other links/suggestions?

What about salad dressings?  My favorite one was Good Seasons Ranch dry mix for dip or dressing. Haven't found it here in our stores for a long time, but just ordered a box of 20 on Amazon.

All three look great!

This sounds really good:

 Meatloaf or Meatballs

Using your own favorite recipe, substitute 1/2 cup of GARLIC EXPRESSIONS for 1/2 cup of other liquid in the recipe. (Adds a distinct flavor and keeps it moist.)  Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Williams is another good source:

I like it for chili seasoning. We usually bought the chili seasoning in 1lb restaurant packages, 24 to the case. We kept the unused seasoning in the freezer to preserve the freshness.

Peppers of Key West.
http://www.peppersofkeywest.com/
Have been to the store several times and also ordered from them...

Pepper Palace in Gatlinburg TN
http://www.pepperpalace.com/
Haven't ever ordered from them, cause it's just a drive up the road, but have got some good stuff there.

Ritter Farms in Grainger TN
http://ritterfarms.com/
I don't know if they ship or not, it's on the way to BFF's daughter's so we just stop there. M is an apple butter afficianado and says theirs is quite good. I bought some of their sweet onion relish and it's delicious. They have lots of stuff that looks really good.
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.

"My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far I've finished two bags of M&M's and a chocolate cake. I feel better already." – Dave Barry

A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.

A lot of good stuff. This looks very interesting. I will have to revisit this site later. http://www.pepperpalace.com/Slathering_Sauce_p/j26.htm

In the jellies and preserves.. I have bought the pepper peach which is excellent on pork, and the habenero pineapple is wonderful on top of cream cheese with crackers or bagels.

In the olives and pickles... I really like the Crazy Jerry's Jalapeno Lizard Eyes. The blue cheese stuffed olives and the pepper jack olives are good alone - or in dirty martinis  :-)  - and the marinated artichokes are good too.

I'm thinking I need to make a trip up there soon to do some replenishing!! It's just such a PITA to get to Gatlinburg cause you have to go through Pigeon Forge, the tourist mecca of the Smokies.

My bro in law has a birthday in the near future, he loves to cook and that will give me some ideas what to send him. I can just have them ship it to him. It's a win/win! When I worked for ALCOA I had to travel to Knoxville a few times, I did enjoy Pigeon Forge but Dollywood was closed for an augmentation.
