Why do DUmmies lie?

The DUmmies lie more often than most people. They even lie when a lie is not needed. Why is this?

This is one of the main characteristics of the primitives, as we all know.

They can't help themselves; they were born to lie, much in the same sense everybody else was born to breathe, to eat, to get warm, to have sex, whatnot else.

Now, all people lie; I've told a few stretchers myself.  It's because we're human, and fallible.

But generally decent and civilized people lie so as to avoid an uncomfortable situation, or to extricate themselves from an uncomfortable situation; we tend not to lie about perfectly harmless and innocuous things where telling the truth does us no harm.

The primitives on the other hand will lie even if telling the truth is easier and with no bad consequences.

Lying is just as much a part of them as their eyes or their fingertips; it comes with the primitive.

Mental illness.

They crave recognition and admiration yet they yearn for a system that rewards failure.
Their lives are useless and empty and without the system to reward them just for being as they think should be they have to create falsehoods so fellow travelers will give them what they desire.

I'm not entirely sure whether they actually know that they're sperading falsehoods - the basic categories of true and false seem to be utterly merged in their minds.

That they have no moral compass, and thus no problem with lying, is self-evident...but I think that the problem goes further and they cannot even grasp the concept.

I think that would fall into the category of mental illness. I think some of them lie simply because they enjoy it which would probably fall into the mental illness category also.

If they confronted the truth that they were responsible for their own happiness they would then be confronted with the reasons they are NOT happy. Moreover, they need lies to make the other guy the reason for their failures.

By this time they are so laden with the weight of their lies they need the peer group of other liars to support that weight. It then becomes a maelstrom of "Let me tell you how smart I am when I totally pwned that guy when I hijacked the grocery store PA system to make the crowd applaud my current set of leftist talking points about why I'm a total failure."

And drugs only exacerbate the mania.

I voted no moral compass.  For example, most of them KNOW that hardly any true racists would support Cain with all the other white choices available, but they slander away like it's going out of style regardless.

There is something about this I either read or saw on TV lately, danged if I can remember it.

On edit: In a sense it isn't like they are lying. They certainly aren't aware they are lying for the most part. There is something about hoaxers and DUmmies that are the same, whether it is UFO hoaxers or the AGW(TM) hoax or Sybil, which I heard Rush talking about Monday, or DUmmies spinning bouncies.

I guess Mental Illness is the best description, but it is a kind of indoctrinated mental illness. There is no independent thinking or analysis of what the DUmmies have been told.

If they succeeded with some sort of Socialist Revolution and the inevitable killing fields/famine started up, they would still be blaming something other than their deadly ideology. Like if it happened today, six months from now, they would be blaming Bush and Palin and Wall Street, even though there is nothing rational in doing so.

Most of them have been purposely damaged and they've never been in any kind of situation where they were in trouble and only their rational mind and reliance on discerning reality could shock them out of it.
