The DU ANGER INDEX 09/03/2010

Margaret has been busy observing the primitives this week.

In the first of an ever expanding series of psycholinguistic analysis of the commies at DU, we present the

DU ANGER INDEX.



This is a measure of the "anger" words that Margaret counted for each day of the week.

The traitors that post at DU are a pretty angry mob.  

The average LIWC anger index for "internet blogs" is 0.76.  We're seeing numbers almost 3 times that high at the DUmp.

Their anger makes me happy.

Well now that's an interesting graph.

General Discussion seems to be really angry, no idea why there was a spike in the GLBT forum.

Now if you could have another little table with dates - and major events that happened on that day we could see how it correlates - find out exactly what buttons need pushing to set them off.

That is a summary of 7 one day scans.  So, the first tic is 8/28, which covered the 24 hours from 1000 on 8/27 to 1000 on 8/28.  The Restoring Honor rally was on the 28th.

It seems to have had an effect on them.

I have to run some more charts to see some correlations.

I'm going to do a "optimism" and "sadness" chart, and I just put a switch in Margaret to start tracking "anxiety".  Also going to do a "positive emotion" vs. "negative emotion" chart.

Somehow, I think that you'll see more "sadness" and "negative emotion" in your runs, than the opposites.
