Think about it. If you were to take him out violently, your wife and kids, heck your whole extended family will be in danger for many years to come.
Like they wouldn't be in danger when the Constitution and it's restrictions on the power of Government didn't matter a damn?
My family have been in this country, have fought and bled for this country since before it was a country. I have a great great waaaay the hell back grandfather that was wounded fighting for General Washington at the Battle of Germantown. I had grandparents on both sides of the Civil war. My mother's father was just through jump school and assigned to a regiment of the 101st airborne when they began training for the invasion of Japan in July of 1945. I've got a great uncle who was a gunners mate on a destroyer in the Pacific, an uncle who was a SeaBee in Korea, and my father, who's first taste of active military service right out of A-school was the "Forrest-Fire" incident in 1967. ALL of them have since returned home to the God that created them, and have heard their Savior tell them, "well done, thou good and faithful servant. Come and receive the rest of my peace." How could I pass through the veil when my time came, and look those men in the eye if I wasn't willing to stand in defense of that Constitution that they were willing to DIE to preserve.
More importantly, what do I tell my son, or his children when they ask me what was so important, that I was willing to sacrifice their freedom and keep silent, when the Constitution was undermined, and liberty was shelved in favor of tyranny.
I've already talked this over with my family (try explaining things like this to a 4-year old sometime). They know what's coming as well as I do. They know how important this fight is. And they would be offended if I was silent when contributing my voice to the defense of the Constitution - and our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor as well - might have made a difference.
