Mark this as a sign of the Apocalypse, friends.  A handful of DUmmies are having dinners consisting of steaks, chops, burgers and the like made with actual meat.  Plenty of vegetables, of course, as gardeners, but nothing actually revolting.  Adding brandy and wine in a festive way.  Hmmm does life not actually suck?

Today, they were making fun of old mid 20th century recipes, such as donut and prune salad.  Yes, yuck.  But, one DUmmie inadvertently gave a link to the beloved and funny James Lileks, who is or was a wonderful contributor to National Review.

What a waste of a decent pita and mayo! My preferences in flat breads are corn tortillas or naan.
