Title: Teenage Mutant Bacon Turtles
Post by: BEG on June 15, 2012, 11:33:52 PM: My husband makes Bacon Burger Dogs every once in awhile. He has made them for the guys who use to work for him and one of the guys made their own version.

Stuff it with cheddar cheese, and wrap it in bacon and broil it. Mother. of. Pete. I adored that. To this day, I have contemplated making it, but I am too scared.

The bacon is wrapped around a couple of hamburger patties that sandwich the hot dogs, looks to me.....

There's no way that much bacon an inch or more thick would actually render all the way through on a bbq grill. The hotdogs would vaporize from the heat and time necessary to do that.
