Title: Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro caught speeding at 119 mph

Fox News host Jeanine Pirro was pulled over for speeding in upstate New York after she was clocked going 119 mph in a 65 mph zone.

The New York Daily News reported Pirro was stopped by a state trooper in Tioga County around 1:15 p.m. Sunday.

Pirro, the host of "Justice With Judge Jeanine," said she was on her way to visit her ailing mother but vowed to "pay the consequences."

“I had been driving for hours to visit my ailing 89-year-old mom and didn’t realize how fast I was driving. I believe in the rule of law and I will pay the consequences,” Pirro said in a Fox News Channel statement.

New York's Department of Motor Vehicles says a conviction for going more than 40 mph over the speed limit could put 11 points on a driver's license. Eleven points will lead to a license suspension.

How is 119 mph not considered reckless driving?   :panic:

Yeaeeeeeaaaaahhhhh ... I don't think so. I've caught myself having drifted up to 75 once in a while in a 65 zone or 80 in a 70 zone, but I looked at my speedometer be cause I realized I might have done what I did. Drift up from 65 or 70 to almost 120 without being aware of it? I don't think so.

In a lot of states you can be charged with reckless driving just by going an excessive speed.

I know NYS is one.  I think it's 25 or 30 mph over the limit here.

15 down here in NC.  It's above 80, so I guess 10 over in VA as all the signs I passed last week stated.

Above 80?  On an Interstate in NYS, it would be 15 over.

And? Will Fox news be banished from the airwaves? Will kittens die? This is supposed to be news? Only because she is conservative and works for Fox.
