My state is bound to follow Constitutional law above all laws, and has plenty of laws against chopping off hands, beating women in skirts, or disfiguring daughters, among many other things, so I don't really see a need to ban Sharia Law in my state, other than making people feel good about banning something.

I bet your state is similar.
