Why is it so hard to find a worthy adversary?

First, the OP, as presented by a fine, upstanding American...

Does your household make $77,000 per year? Congratulations! You’re the evil “Top 20%.” And you pay 95% of the country’s income taxes.

Then, this idiot chimes in...

1. I pay 30% EFFECTIVE tax for state, local and FICA...

BEFORE the first dollar paid in income tax.

6. So you're peddling bullshit to someone who knows better.

8. The bullshit is yours. The OP is about fed income taxes. You didn't mention any of those.

9. What about "ALL TAXES" is ambiguous to you?

I pay more of my income in sales taxes than Donald Trump pays in all taxes combined.

10. Everyone else understood the OP, what's your problem?

13. Ignorant dupes accept "income taxes" as synonymous for "all taxes" because it's the breitbart way.

Taxes that working class people pay aren't really taxes. Over half of federal government revenues are from sources other than income taxes, and none of my state taxes are.

14. From the third sentence of the first paragraph of the body of the OP --

"And you pay 95% of the country’s income taxes."

Do you see that?

"income taxes"

As in, "income taxes."

Which is synonymous with, "income taxes."

Also known as "income taxes."

Although, regionally, you may know them as "income taxes."

And, no, it's not referring to state income taxes because, and again I'm quoting the OP, it's "the COUNTRY'S income taxes."

Definite article, singular "the" followed by "country's" possessive singular as in "not A state's."

According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

If true, then this DUmmie is probably one of those hurt by limiting the SALT deductions. Blue states have been subsidized by red state taxpayers for decades. It's time for the blue staters to pay their "fair share" of federal taxes.

DUmmies are so cute when they try to argue.  It is rather like when kids play dress up in mommy's shoes.

(with pretty much the same result, they end up falling on their a$$)     :-)

It really is pitiful sometimes. I've actually had to use the ignore function for 3 of them now. You know, the ones who's stupid doesn't even offer entertainment. The Doc sock is one of them. They couldn't come up with 2 brain cells to rub together between the lot of them

It's because those two brain cells are too busy waving goodbye to each other. :whistling:
