Utah mayor looks to upset Romney in 2024 GOP primary, says voters feel 'let down' by incumbent

A (sic) upstart Utah mayor is trying to pull off what would be one of the biggest primary upsets of the 2024 election cycle – knocking off incumbent GOP Sen. Mitt Romney, whom he argues is an interloper and career politician repeatedly out of touch with state voters' conservative values.

"They have a feeling of being just let down," city of Riverton Mayor Trent Staggs recently said on the "John Solomon Reports" podcast. "Here's somebody who came in and moved to the state. That's something that a lot of Utahns, I think, had to give him a bit of a pass on."
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

Of course they feel "let down." The idiots who voted for Mittens were sucked into the "OMG, I saved the Olympics" lie (fomented by Mittens and his handlers, of course) and when he abandoned them to become governor of Massachusetts, they STILL didn't get it.

DefiantSix can talk toward this much better than I can, but I'd posit that most Utahns would prefer to take Mittens out to the curb with the rest of the trash.

I wish.

I'd love to see the Mitt-Wit pack his carpet bag and move on down the road. Unfortunately, for all of us who have been unimpressed having the Mitt-Wit as JUNIOR Sena'tard "representing" them, there is at least one more U'tard who marches in mindless lockstep with the RINO Big Government wing of the Republican party.

Mayor Skaggs' one advantage could be that he’s willing to get down into the streets of Utah, press the flesh publicly and create an impression that overcomes the Mitt-Wit's "name recognition" - something I just can't see Romney having the stomach to duplicate (we peasants are revolting, doncha know). I guess we'll see.
