5.06/G Regular
4.73/G Diesel

We're actually having some fuel shortages in different parts of NS right now so I can only imagine it'll go up.

Diesel in Bar Harbor today one place I looked was $3.99.  Rgas was about $3.77 IIRC.  Many rigs with Ontario plates; one I saw probably goes north of $250K American, nice diesel pusher.

After a couple of weeks of hovering around the $3.65/3.70 range, gas prices climbing again.  This time blamed on Irene shutting down refineries.

If we're lucky we'll be looking at $3.50/gal for heating oil early this winter, climbing to $4/gal by February.  FML.

And if you look at the trend, we've been above $3.50/gal for regular unleaded for almost six months now with no sign of dropping.  In 2008, gas prices were above $3.50/gal for less than five months, on their way to a national average of $1.80/gal on 1/20/09.

Welcome to the Obamanation.

Yes, we saw a run up of 20 cents in 5 days. I put it down to the Laborday holiday.

I can remember when they used to bump the price a dime or so on the Wednesday before the long weekend, now they ramp it up gradually over a couple of weeks.

National average this morning $3.58.  Pretty much unchanged from last month, but up and down in between...(mostly up.)

$3.598 average in NH.  Generic gas in Seabrook as low as $3.419, but most places still around $3.60-3.65.

We've now gone seven months with average price over $3/gal with no end in sight.  Under Bush, it lasted less than five months in 2008.

It was $3.48 in Wisconsin last weekend and $3.90 around here. Indiana was $3.55. Of course, Illinois has some of the highest gas taxes in the country, and they vary daily by county and city.

I had the misfortune of driving through Illinois (I-64, I-57, and I-24) this past weekend roundtrip and I make it a point to purchase NOTHING in your state. No gas, no drinks, no snacks, no nothing.

Most of my disaffection has to do with the silly attitude IL has with concealed carry laws. I gotta do stupid things with my carry gun to be compliant.  :whatever:

On the other hand, I don't mind leaving a deposit of one type or another.  :-)

Was $2.99 here yesterday.....it's the world wide slow down that has brought the price down, not anything Obama or the government has done...but I'm sure they will take the credit for it.

National average according to AAA this morning: $3.455/gal.

Best state: MO at $3.182/gal.

Worst state: Hawaii at $4.242/gal, on the mainland it's CA at $3.865/gal.

NH: $3.504/gal, but most of the places at home are $3.55-3.60, while work (Seabrook) is as low as $3.32.  Go figure.

Last weekend, I saw it at $2.929 at a station north of Columbia on U.S. 63 (in Missouri). It went back up to $3.09 later that day, though.

I'd agree that the economic engine is slowing down and is accounting for the price drop -- certainly not anything Dipshit Barry is doing.

Both straight gasoline and E10 are $3.09 here today........

I'm not certain, but the big drop this past week could be due to the fact that we went off of "summer blend" ??

Down 3 cents to $3.05 today.  Bush's fault.

I think Doc is right.  So why is the winter blend cheaper than the gasoline they sell in the summer?

Well, it was $2.96/9 this morning when I looked.

The prices I've posted are the cheapest in town for the 87 octane 10% stuff.

There aren't but 2 places in the whole county that sell 100% gasoline.
