He wants this war with Syria so to repay the MuBros for his lack of support to their guy Morsi in Egypt.  He gets the MuBros/al Qaeda into the leadership, and things will be alright.

I don't think he wants war with Syria. I think he believes giving the Jihadists Israel will get them to leave the USA alone. All his pre-announced missile lob is going to do is signal the start of the invasion as a starting pistol begins a race.

Then he will blame Bush and the Republicans in The House to attempt to gain 100% of the Jewish vote for whomever the Democrat is in 2016.

I think you're vastly overestimating the scope of his national security vision and grasp of foreign affairs.  Israel would probably be better off if he really was trying to screw them, because he'd **** that up in a heartbeat too.
