Omaha Steve to be in Senator Bob Kerrey's return to Nebraska commercial!

Over a four hour time frame, several Sarpy & Cass county residents were giving their opinion on Kerrey's return in Plattsmouth, Ne. No hints. You will have to wait till it is finished.

They are shooting in Omaha now./

Hooray!!!!   GOOOOOOOOOOO Steve!!!

Chief Crying Carpetbagger was knob-gobblin' for Bob Kerrey down in Plattsmouth this weekend. How did that serve the good people of Bellevue's 1st Ward?

Steve Dawes, committed Socialist and shameless carpet-bagger, is just trying to ride Kerrey's coat-tails.

Why does Steve speak of himself in third person?  You know, the tendency to refer to oneself in the third person is often viewed by psychologists as a symptom of narcissism.

Don't you?

Frank?

I think it's duplicitous that one of the down-ballot candidates endorsed by the same union is appearing in Kerrey's "road to Jerusalem" video.

That may be good for the Republican candidates for Senator to discover, along with the pictures of Chief Crying Carpetbagger and the Ditch Witch. Red meat for the Beef State!

Well now, I am truly disappointed in our fellow Nebraskan.

When Bob Kerrey said he wasn't going to run, and the Nebraska Democrats were looking around for a candidate, someone from northeastern Nebraska answered their call.  Solid credentials and reputation as an active professional Democrat, sort of good name-recognition, a stalwart labor-union man.

Bob Kerrey endorsed him.

The guy quit his job and didn't file to run for the elected position he currently holds.

And now Kerrey's gone back on his word, and is running too.

Which puts the Nebraska Democrats in a pickle.

On one hand, they have a good solid labor-union candidate, and on the other hand, a non-union candidate.

So why's the big guy supporting the non-union candidate?

If nobody else asks the big guy this question, I'm sure we'll get around to asking it.

I find it hard to believe OS is supporting someone non union.

I wonder if OS will be carrying his " Union Thug for Choice ! " sign in the commercial.

Steve Dawes is supporting a non-union candidate.

Really?  I thought he was a friend of the working man.  At least that's what he keeps saying.

What is worse is that Steve Dawes of Bellevue, an avowed socialist and union member is supporting a wealthy non-union member over another union brother.  He is putting politics ahead of union brotherhood.

Hopefully not in Hi def, or 3D.

Well he couldn't have been, because he posted that he was going door to door to meet and great the fine folks of Bellevue!   He wouldn't have lied to us would he?  :(

His union endorsed him also.    Steve Dawes is a good union soldier.

Well, yes, the combined labor unions of Omaha endorsed the non-union candidate, probably on pragmatic grounds; they're thinking Kerrey has a better chance of winning the seat, than his union opponent.  He does, but those chances are still pretty scant, almost negligible.

However, as long as it's for a (D), unions around here "tolerate" deviations from the party line, and the big guy could endorse the union candidate, as a matter of statesmanship and principle, with no consequences to him from the Omaha federation.

This is something that actually happens quite a bit, and as long as it's for a (D), nobody suffers.

I think the big guy's spinal column is absent.

I'll try to listen to it later to give you a heads up to what is said -- haven't listened to it yet.  He posted that on the DU also (I started a thread about it but couldn't listen to it).

I love that he has a picture of him drinking alcohol on his own campaign site.  What fun.   The rookie mistakes being made says to me this "campaign" is anything but.   I don't know what the purpose of the baskball game picture is, unless that is his daughter.  City council has NOTHING to do with school board.   Very odd and very not done.

Forget the socialist platform, this guy is not recovering from the media article that states for employment he was injured and being moved to another department.

Well, the video clip is pretty strange and pretty funny. It features the Omaha Weeper, Steve Dawes, lifelong Socialist, along with some nameless metrosexual/gay lefty guy, and a commie woman. They're talking about Omaha, and the word "Bellevue" is never spoken.

The subject is all the crushing derision Omaha suffers, how people laugh whenever the city is mentioned.

(That's news to me. When I hear about Omaha, it's about Warren Buffett begging for higher taxes, or a Marlin Perkins rerun.)

The commie female thinks people have contempt for Omaha because of a lynching in 1919.

The gay metrosexual and the Socialist Steve Dawes think Omaha is a joke because abandoned buildings have been replaced by new corporate headquarters.

The Weeper is in full Boxcar Willie mode, with the bushy wino beard and an untrimmed Bozo hairdo.

It's sort of surprising that his new website doesn't include any discussion of his fixation on teenaged girl athletes. I wonder what's up with that. After all, it was the reason he moved to Bellevue.

I think Steve Dawes of Bellevue, the self avowed socialist,  has been reading our threads about him.  He doesn't mention the fact that he moved to Bellevue just to watch little girls wearing shorts and T-shirts running around. I wonder if he takes pictures or videos of them.

First of all, WTF for? Does Stevie think he's know anywhere else besides the DUmp? This guy sure has an inflated opinion of himself, don't he?

I think Bob's people might want to know just who is being in their tv spot.

Well, the video clip is pretty strange and pretty funny.

It's nearly incoherent.

And still no pictures of Chief Crying Carpetbagger, Turd Technician Third Class, getting up close and personal with the Ditch Witch, receptacle of Hugo Chavez' precious bodily fluids.
