<<has been kicked by kharma too many times to count.

And it always works, never fails, never makes an exception.

If I were a hate-filled primitive, I'd worry.  A lot.

Yup.  Ditto here.  And it works for those who wrong me, too.

They do offer different rates of return on it though - for some it's 1:1, others offer 3:1.  It pays to shop around.

At the risk of derailing the thread, I'm a karma non-believer because bad things happen to undeserving people. God makes it rain on the wicked as well as the good. My hope is that true justice exists in the eternal rather than temporal.
Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

I like anything if it's good but my favorite genres are R&B, Hip Hop, Soul/Neo-Soul, Gospel, Funk, and Country.  :)

I'm a good person, try to be kind, law-abiding...but bad things have happened to me.  However, upon careful soul-searching evaluation, I can trace nearly every instance back to something I did or didn't do.  Even if it's "self-inflicted" karma.

I don't think it's a matter of "bad things happen to good people" and vice versa.  However, if you are unkind or hold hatred or evil or other such malicious mischief in your heart or actions, it WILL bite you in the ass.  If you are kind and pliable with benevolence in your heart toward others, it WILL reward you.  Eventually.  Karma 101.

Dick Cheney is a nice man.  "One of the nicest you could hope to meet."  (something like that   :)   )

He's a realist, I'm sure, about his own mortality.  Most ranchers are.

I'm grateful he served our country as he did.

He has lived a very long and full life, studded with accomplishments and blessed with a talented and loving family.  His passing will not be a tragedy, just an inevitable if regrettable culmination of a life well-lived.

Richard Cheney was my first choice for president in 2000; this was before I saw how awesome George Bush was, and is.

And he was again my first choice for president in 2008, but given his age and condition, that of course was just an idle dream.
