I just got done reading Will Rogers: His Life and Times (Richard Ketchum, 1973, American Heritage Publishing Co.); it's one of those books I found in a 50-cent bin at a bookstore in the big city.
You know, if anybody here resembles Will Rogers's type of wit and humor, it has to be JohnnyReb. It's remarkable, the similarities between the two.
All in all, it was a good book, with lots of pages of examples of the Will Rogers quotes.
But I cried at the ending when the airplane crashed.
