Well, Socialist Steve, I'm afraid you don't have your priorities straight here, and once again you come across as being DUmber than a stump.

Remember, businessmen, and consumers who can afford fancy establishments in places that add an "e" to "town", are overwhelmingly Republican.

They'll never vote for a democrat, especially a lifelong socialist democrat with a history of being a deadbeat who repeatedly sues his employers.

Sucking up to them will gain you zero votes.

WalMart isn't in Ward 1, but "WalMart" doesn't vote. How about those 500+ WalMart employees and their hundreds of voting family members?

Pretty great political strategy you have there, DUmbass! Threaten their jobs, and call them 'tards who can't work anywhere else.

That should get you lots of votes. That's how you finished third in a field of three among your fellow union loafers.

Actually we knew from the start that you were enjoying the attention, at least I did anyway.
Personally I'm amused when anyone from a true hate site such as DU tries to run for public office, especially when that person has posted bouncies of how mean they were to car salesmen. If I were you Stevie, I would ask $kimmer to delete the thread where you were quite nasty to a car salesman who was just trying to earn a living in this horrible Bush Obama economy.

While Steve Dawes, City Council Candidate for Ward 1 in Bellevue, NE, may not have a Walmart in his district, I can guarantee that he has Walmart shoppers.   Most people can't afford to shop at the little grocery stores in fancy places like Old Towne, even if it is the closest store.  Most people can't afford to buy all of their clothes from boutique shops.  Most employees of Walmart don't live next to the store, he undoubtedly has Walmart shoppers in his district, too bad he thinks that "Wal-mart doesn't hire people that are easy to employ elsewhere...They don't hire cream of the crop", way to go Steve Dawes.

Oh no, it just dawned on me that OS doesn't realize that as councilor he will be voting on issues that affect Bellevue as a whole.   His votes will not be limited to his Ward 1.   Like his posts on the DU, he believes he exists in a bubble.  That must happen when you don't go outside that often.  Meh, maybe he is correct.  Why would Walmart care who is running for city council?  It's not like they spend money on campaigns or anything right?  

Poor dear.   We really need to make the pity party we are planning for him rather big.   He is never getting over this.
