I'm admittedly not super-informed about Canadian politics, but I do pay attention to Canada, and love listening to CBC.Whatever, happens though, it seems clear that real liberals/progressives are actually succeeding in building an alternative political presence up there that should be a lesson here in the US.

How can they call a majority when we just finished voting an hour and a half ago? I am really angry. I campaigned for the Liberals but after the smear against Ignatieff, I knew the Libs won't win, so changed my support to the NDP. Some of us Canadians just don't want change! I have a feeling if the bloc quebecois was not running in Quebec, the NDP would have won.
