President Obama: On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.

President Medvedev: I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.

This should be impeachable.

At least.

Wrong headline.

It should read:

Obama conspires with foreign powers to weaken US defense in trade for re-election

I didn't make the atom-spy connection immediately when I saw the title, I figured it would be about Obama pulling a Hillary and 'Discovering' his Jewish roots for election purposes!

 :rotf:

I did hear about the Medvedev conversation on the news though; honestly it's difficult to tell whether he's planning to sell us out or was just talking about the political realities of our election system.  I, of course, would assume he is trying to sell us out.

It will be interesting to see the left's reaction to this. They accused Reagan of conspiring with the Iranians (to delay the transfer of hostages back to the USA until after Carter left office) based on rumors and innuendos. This is Obama on an open mic, no rumor or innuendo needed, just his words.

I find it more interesting that this exchange showed up on any part of abc's website.  The comments are priceless.

Wasp, I've been reading those comments.  323 so far, with 25 added in the last 15 min. or so.  I have found only 3 Obamabot comments, and they're all in the line of "you Rethugs are crazy nutty."

Is this impeachable yet?  WTF?  People are UP IN ARMS.

I wouldn't say impeachable just yet.  Mindlessly stupid and amateurish, yes, but not quite impeachable.  For such a bright individual, barry big ears has given our side a lot of ammo over the past 4 years.  If the RNC won't use it, I'm sure some PAC will.

OBAMA IS TO MY THINKING JUST A TEST TO SEE JUST HOW MUCH THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WILL PUT UP WITH, SCREW AROUND WITH OUR LAWS, AND OPEN THE THE DOOR FOR A MUCH NASTIER SUCCESOR.

Little Obama has 8 years to open the gate to the real horror to come.    For all we know Obama may not himself know that he is just a pawn in the hands of the Chess Masters.

Will not be the first time in history that a blithering idiot was place as the leader.  Used and manulipited by the behind the curtain to push their agender.

About the same as when I watch a ad on TV for some new fangled invention that does not work as the ad said. Only problem Money back guarantee does not cover elected officials.

What to do, the Politicians now sell themselves as the  hucksters on the shopping channel,----- Buy now only 10  minutes left

I voted for Bush --Read my lips no new taxes-----. and way back when Nixon and his secrete plan to end the war.

I became jaded and only Reagan gave me faith in the GOP------Then along came Clinton that pushed my 401k plan to heights I never  imagined.  --- Hell I gave a crap if he was screwing the Senate Pages , males and females, in groups or one at a time.

Along comes an outsider,  that perhaps give new blood to politics and I bought him never knowing he was a  song and dance man.-- so don't give me no guff on my betting on the wrong horse, how was I to know he had rabies????

Clinton actually hindered the economy in the 90's. The reason your 401K increased so much is due to the I.T. revolution, and Clinton tried to sue the piss out of one of the largest I.T. firms, Microsoft. The economy performed well in the 90's despite Clinton; not because of Clinton. There was nothing that was stopping that revolution.

You're about 4 and a half years behind the power curve, vesta.  Anyone with half a functioning brain could listen to "hope and change" and "si, se puede" one time and know that clown was up to something.

Sorry, you should have the wisdom of experience and you shat it away in 2008 so I will give you all of the "guff" I please, my dear.

You may be "better late than never", but I will never forgive you nor anyone else who fell for this fool's hype.

They bought into the hype?

White guilt?

General lack of paying attention to the idiot's voting record, and comments on the campaign trail?

Pick one or add your own.

I can't figure it out.
