2010 April 20, at a certain brick/tile factory in Dingqiao of Haining in Zhejiang province, many kiln workers’ sons and daughters have been tied to the workshop windows with rope by their parents. The reason the parents have done this is because they do not have time to look after their children yet are afraid of their children running around and getting into an accident. As it is understood, these children are tied to the windows for nearly 10 hours every day.

Color me a heartless bastard, but that reminds me of the SNL skit with Mike Myers and and Nicole Kidman...and I wish that more parents would do this to their children at Wal-Mart.

I think there are halter collars available to keep kids in control, but not enough parents use them in stores.  Some children should have choker collars on them.  :evillaugh:

From what I see of Asians that come here and work 18 hours a day at 2-3 jobs is they smuggle in grandma or great aunt to watch the kids and support her.

Bull-SHIT they don't.  I suggest you try living in a heavily Asian neighborhood before you spout.  My home in CA was in a cul-de-sac which was about 80 percent Asian (mostly Vietnamese) by the time I left.  I don't say that as a slam--they're some of the friendliest, quietest, and most respectful neighbors you can have once you get to know them.  It ain't easy, but when you've made a friend with these folks, they'll do anything for you--and vice versa.

Try 22 years spent 10 hours a day with Asian workers that became friends and told you their story's.  You are correct about their actions as friends, neighbors and coworkers.

That is child abuse....how sad for those poor children.  China scores an F for their treatment of children.  If you have too many, forced abortion...and those you do keep, you tie them to a window with a 5' piece of rope.

My great-grandmother did this with her kids, until they were old enough to work in the fields.  She'd tie them to the clothesline in the morning, come home at noon to feed and change diapers, and tie them back up until sunset.  It was normal at that time...
