Taking America's pulse.
« on: August 30, 2008, 07:27:04 AM »
High noon yesterday I was like, "WTH was he (McCain) thinking?". A couple of hours later, I was a little calmer. I've been checking a lot of sites that I visit that have woodworkers, farmers, trucker drivers, and other sites that have working class to rich from all over the world on them. .....and since 4 am. this morning, I've had coffee in three different local hangouts with people from all walks of like (both dem & rep). They all (republicans), like myself, like her better than McCain and the dem supporters are going nuts.

Unless the MSM can dig up something terrible on her, I'm feeling very comfortable right now. More comfortable than at anytime in the last 8 months.

Anyone else feeling better now?

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

I have been comfortable from the beginning. Look, the Dems threw their woman under the bus. Now the Repubs have a beautiful, intelligent, agressive, dare I say "clean and articulate"  :lmao: Govenor from Alaska who knows how to knuckle fight. Secondly the Dems been shouting for "Change" I think McCain delivered "Change" Whatever little nagging doubts I may have will either grow or be put to rest come October 2.

Making sure nothing terrible can be dug-up is what the vetting process is all about.

I'm quite sure Sen. McCain (R-Arizona) is serious enough about his campaign to protect it from such timebombs.

I'm also quite sure Gov. Palin (R-MILFville) cares enough about her family to spare them the public humiliation that would come from such a timebomb. I think they knew going in how vicious the libs would become and wanted to make sure that as ugly as things would become there should not be anything real for the paste-eaters to hang around her neck.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."
