A convicted child killer has been beaten to death by another prisoner at a top security jail.

Sidonio Teixeira, who was jailed for life in 2008 for the murder of his three-year-old daughter, was attacked on Monday morning at Long Lartin prison in Worcestershire.

Fellow prisoner, Victor Castigador, 51, who is serving a whole life tariff after carrying out a brutal gangland double murder, is understood to be being questioned in connection with the incident.

In an age when the "justice" system is responsible for more than its share of crimes, nice to see the criminal system taking up for justice.

It is kind of sad when you can't tell the inmates in the prison system from the elected officials in our government.
