A convention of states.

Republicans dont fear being voted out next election. They keep passing more inhumane, brutal, fascist laws each one worse than the last

We all know thats not a recipie for winning elections.

So by passing such inhumane laws they are getting liberals and the ones they love to flee to safe states. With trans kids its whole families seeking asylum from red state fascism.

They want to control enough states to call a convention of states and thereby change our constitution. They only need to control 34 states. This is what makes florida the entire united states.this is why they try to gum up the elections.gum up enough states they will win them by hook or crook.. than change our constitution.

Then Florida becomes the United States under the constitution.

A convention of states is a convention called by the state legislatures for the purpose of proposing amendments to the Constitution. They are given power to do this under Article V of the Constitution. It is not a constitutional convention. It cannot throw out the Constitution because its authority is derived from the Constitution.

Ever think the idea if you got 1 wish you'd wish for 1000 more wishes?

This is where this could go.

1. Yes, it is an important issue

Two things

This has been tossed around for decades now

Secondly, where ya gonna get 34 states?

2. Why is it that people who post this stuff never add that the Convention,

if it is ever called, would not be capable of changing the Constitution? Any proposed amendments would still have to be ratified by 3/4ths of the states. They have been trying for years to get the 34 states necessary to call a convention. If the can’t get 34 for pie-in-the- sky changes, what are their chances of getting 38 to ratify changes they will actually have to specify?

If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

How many states is that now? Half, or more?

Dems like to claim that Republican ideas are unpopular, but in reality, immigration, education, the economy, crime, and probably other things are issues in which Republicans have a decisive advantage.

Not possible. Remember, we greedy, needlessly cruel and heartless producers don't give lunatics on the dole enough to spare for that kind of "recreation". Not to mention we don't let Medicaid cover "that kind" of medicine. Because racism/sexism/homophobia/ :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah:

I'm sooo ashamed of my needless cruelty and blatant hatred of those less fortunate than me.  :stoner: :-) :lmao:

DR;TD

So much wrong in the first three sentences. Again substitute democrats for republicans there and mentally ill UGP would be spot on.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
