Another inexplicable
'delay' before last night's drawing, another announcement that 'only one person'
won, another black curtain of secrecy by Powerball-officials over who the winner is. The jackpot was around 1.3-billion.
I don't care about Powerball because I don't play it.
But a few seconds after the announcement about 'the delay', I remembered the 2.something billion-dollar jackpot a couple years ago, that had a pre-drawing accounting-delay... then an announcement that 'only one person' won... followed by officials saying they're protecting the winner by not announcing
the name.
The connecting factor is
the delay. -As in
voting-machine circa 2020 style tabulation, when all lesser jackpots have zero glitches when it comes to timely tallies about the drawings.
