when I read your recent rules post. Censorship has taken a firm grip here (reference my recent penultimate post which was locked) regarding presidential tendencies over the last half century. I was wondering what my 100th post should be. That is resolved. It is this soon to be locked or deleted post. Please delete my name from DU membership, there is nothing for me here. Hope you all enjoy your circle jerk.

25. Locking...
And a pleasant 'Good Morning' to you.
And... we're locking.
Inflammatory, inappropriate, or over-the-top
Any post which is, in the consensus of the moderators, too rhetorically hot, too divisive, too extreme, or too inflammatory.
In other words... flamebait.
Rule enforcement issues
Publicly complaining about rule enforcement.
Publicly "calling-out" the moderators/administrators over specific enforcement action.

There are only two places where I believe I could find conversational use of the word penultimate..
a) Democratic Underground.
b) Renaissance Faires.
And only one place where I would find it used redundantly..
"reference my recent penultimate post which was locked" - penultimate implies recent in its meaning - so recent that it refers to the post immediately before this one. Not to mention the grammar..
Well- I will be back later. I have to go and walk my dog which is brown.
You racist!!!!!!!!!!!1
Yep, she is brown, and I also tease her because she is a wienerdog - so I guess that makes me sexist too - calling a girl dog a wiener.... :-)

Claimed she'd emailed me and her dad to ask permission. She knows I only check my email twice a week or so and her dad had told her to ask me...I guess it's true that it's better to ask forgiveness than permission.

Usually, I just ask 'em to "smoke the pole"......heh, heh! Never used the word wiener!WHOOPS!

Anyway, all of our four dogs are a mix of brown and black, or in Molly's case, simply brown. We're so racist. :-)

That dog looks like it's legs are too short to keep it's belly from dragging, much like our 45 pound Beagle. :lmao:

There are only two places where I believe I could find conversational use of the word penultimate..One of my favorite novels is called The Penultimate Truth by Philip K. Dick.

Oh My! That dog has a healthy appetite! LOL
KC
Indeed- even though we limit her food to dry stuff for fat dogs, she feeds herself when she is outside. she uses that Dachshund nose of hers to root out her own food. Worms.. grubs.. slugs.. etc.
Dog has no problem trotting over and snapping a green pepper or a tomato right off the plant either..
And of course, all the other more disgusting things dogs will eat....

How "progressive"!
Around here they think horseshit is an H'ordeurve! or however ya spell the damn things!
I have eight cats, and the damn dogs think the litter boxes are a 24/7 all you can eat buffet. :o
Thank God hubby has installed a cat door through which the dogs cannot pass into the "cat room", filled with all sorts of yummy cat treats.
Now, however, Molly wiggles right in there and ugh, helps herself from time to time.
Ooo, I really shouldn't have been writing this while trying to eat a bowl of sherbert. :whatever:
