I did this once two years ago and still need help

Longtime DUers know I've been around since 2004 and have been through a few things,like everyone. In 2022 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I had an extensive surgery which included a blood transfusion and then went through chemotherapy. I am a survivor but surviving has been expensive.

I'm still paying off bills from the treatment and this doesn't include the other bills that fell by the wayside during that time. This also doesn't include ongoing appointments,tests and yearly scans. I have insurance but after deductibles and coinsurance I never seem to get caught up-ever.

If anyone would like to help I have a link provided. There is no reason why in the United States we should need to worry about medical bills but we do.

There are reasons why healthcare tourism is a thing in Canuckia and the UK, and why people in those countries suffer and even die due to delays in tests and treatment.

It’s a sad story, but most Americans are in hock up to their eyeballs anyway so just pay what you can afford most doctors hospitals treatment centers will accept whatever you can give them as long as you’re paying something. A couple years ago I had to go for radiation treatments. My share of the bill is $4000 and they told me pay what you can so I did. I’d send them a 50 or 100 bucks a month and I paid it off. It didn’t kill me even living on Social Security.
