I am so proud of President Obama. He has led us from the wilderness [View all]
I remember the fear and anxiety we were all feeling in 2008 when the wheels were coming off of the global economy. We truly wondered if we would see things turn around in the next 10 years.
Despite all of the irrational racial hate heaped upon Obama, he has stood strong and the results are undeniable to all but the most bitter who refuse to acknowledge reality.
Our economy has been on an upward trajectory since 2009, and we are better off than when Obama started.
Obama will be written about as one of the top 5 transformational US presidents of the last 100 years.
Thank you, Obama for dealing gracefully with the GOP hate and irrationality.
The GOP hates American people, and they show it every day by their actions. Thankfully, Americans are waking up and rejecting GOP violence, inequality, and hatred.
Sure, sure..... so proud.

6. Its not clear how "lost" we were or how much things have changed
Presidents make much less difference than many think. Yes things changed under Obama. Not sure it is that vastly different than it would have been under the Republican candidates.
Both sides over inflate the importance of the figure head
She's one of the sane ones. No response to her yet. There won't be.

8. True. Any president has very little control over the economy for instance.
If the economy has improved lately it is almost certainly the result of the inevitable business cycle and has very little to do with anything Obama has done.
Some of these Delusionists have a bulb screwed in. No response here either. Sufficient praise for Dear Leader was not shown.

21. No but they love their puppet masters
and make the mistake of believing their own false propaganda. The result is great trouble for the vast majority of the American people and more money for the GOP puppet master overlords.
Who controls the Senate and the White House again?

11. Despite the "upward trajectory" of the economy, here's the link to a thread about a college
graduate with a crappy job who is still on his parents' insurance. Upward indeed! http://www.discussionist.com/1015228936
Which, of course, elicited this:

47. Funny....
the comment is made, repeatedly, how the President has no real effect on the economy. OK, fine. Additionally, it is repeatedly claimed that tEaParTyjIhAdiSelEbInTy!!111 have stymied Dear Leader at every turn. Well, that would leave it to two things:
1.Congress
.
2.The somewhat-Free Market itself.
Well, every member of the Church of Liberal Progressive Fundamentalism has been screaming about a "do nothing" Congress and Government Shutdown. Ok, fine again. Now, you claim the Economy is the best it's ever been. Congress, or the President have done nothing. You claim all these jobs, the greatest job generator ever!!! are being created. But.....
No jobs bills, no legislation, Presidential inactivity. Barely intelligible screams about jobs bills (40 plus went to Reid and died there). No luck there. So who, or what, is really responsible for your glowing assessment of the Economy?
Yes CLPFers, the Market itself. Kinda blows your mind doesn't it? The US market that has been underwriting Eurosocialism since 1948. If you want to tout the glorious Eurosocialist system, thank a US taxpayer.
I won't mention anything about our growing energy production despite the best efforts of the CLPF and Dear Leader to throttle it. So yes, no thanks to Dear Leader and Envirofascists, we're no 1, .....again!
Whoopsie.....
