Buckley enlisted in the army and served through WWII. Under the circumstances threatening to punch the face of some gink calling him a "Nazi" was a pretty understandable. Besides Vidal was a prick, so in addition to being appropriate it was ******* funny to watch.

Vidal is LUCKY that Lord Buckley ONLY threatened him with violence. Vidal told Buckley to shut up and then called him a "crypto-Nazi".
